TeachingMATE is an authoring tool program in which instructors can author summaries, questions, teaching materials and test papers that are needed for learning activities easily, and these materials are saved as not in a file format, but as in database. It includes individual learning management function that allows for instructors to compose various teaching materials and test papers according to their purpose Authored Contents The authored contents are saved into the database as objects, and they may be searched, extracted and mixed for use. They may also be printed, used as learning materials through presentation, and may be used as e-Learning materials as well by providing them through community-based e-Learning portal service provided by Daulsoft. Author Question Type of questions in TeachingMATE are defined as Group/Single question and Essay/Multiple Choice question. Questions are managed effectively by providing hints, comments and properties to each one of them. Compose Test Paper Test papers can be composed with questions that have been authored in TeachingMATE. With these test papers, they can be used as learning materials online/offline. Author Summary Users can create main points or summaries to be provided to the students. It is very simple to use since the functions are very similar to Microsoft Word.

Authored teaching materials such as questions can all be converted into database.   Authored summaries and questions are saved into database, and they are extracted and combined together for a convenient composition of various teaching materials as well as test papers.Materials composed by the instructors such as summaries or questions are saved into database as per learning, per question. Therefore, teaching materials, test papers, or combination of learning and question, and etc can be made freely and conveniently. These composed materials can be stored under the folder that was set up by the instructor, and each of them are given properties, title and etc for automatic extraction or search. Also, the composed teaching materials or test papers can be serviced as online assessments or assignments. Contents such as teaching materials, questions and etc are easy to author. Numerical formulas, diagrams, graphs and etc can all be expressed very conveniently and precisely with the use of specialized editors that has similar user interface as general word processor. With the use of editors and general word processor functions that are also provided in TeachingMATE, various teaching materials can be created. New graphs or diagrams can be modified using provided ones, and new material is created by the instructor for instant use.
